Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Jade handles personal information when you visit the site or use the Jade service.

Last updated October 4, 2026

Information we collect

We collect information needed to provide and secure Jade. Depending on how you use the service, this may include account and organization details; business profile and offering information; booking, attendance, enrollment, and course-progress records; client details entered by a business; payment and subscription status; messages sent through our contact form; and technical information associated with visits and service operation.

Payment card details are handled by Stripe. Jade receives transaction details and identifiers needed to record purchases, manage plans, and provide related features; Stripe's own privacy terms also apply to its processing.

How we use information

We use information to:

  • provide scheduling, booking, course, client, and payment features;
  • authenticate accounts, maintain organizations, and protect the service;
  • send transactional notices such as booking, payment, and account messages;
  • respond to questions and requests submitted through the contact form;
  • understand service reliability and aggregate usage through analytics; and
  • meet legal obligations and enforce our terms.

Business and client data

Businesses using Jade decide what client and learner information they enter and how they use it. They are responsible for providing any notices and obtaining any permissions required for their use of that information. If you are a client or learner interacting with a business through Jade, contact that business about its use of your information. Jade also processes information as needed to operate the service and support the business.

Service providers

We use service providers to operate Jade, including providers for authentication, cloud hosting and databases, payment processing, email delivery, and analytics. These providers process information on our behalf or as described in their own terms. We do not sell personal information for money.

Analytics and cookies

Jade uses Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate site usage and improve reliability and the product. Vercel describes Web Analytics as cookieless; the service and hosting may still process standard technical request information. Authentication and core features may use necessary browser storage. You can control cookies and local storage through your browser, though disabling them may affect sign-in or service functions.

Optional AI features

The business-facing AI agent is optional. When a business enables it with its own Anthropic or OpenAI API key, prompts and relevant business data needed to answer or carry out a request are sent to that provider. The provider processes those requests under its own terms and privacy practices. Businesses should avoid sending information they are not authorized to share and should review AI-generated content and proposed actions.

Retention and security

We keep information for as long as needed to provide Jade, maintain business records, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations, and enforce agreements. Retention can vary by information type and the business account involved. We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and requests

You can update account and business information in Jade. To ask a question about this policy, request access to or deletion of information held by Jade, or raise a privacy concern, use the contact form. We may need to verify a request and may retain information where the law or legitimate service needs require it. Requests about information controlled by a Jade business should also be directed to that business.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Jade changes. We will revise the date above when an updated version is posted. If a change is material, we will take reasonable steps to provide notice through the service or another appropriate channel.
